Refund and Returns Policy
1. Custom & Personalized Products (Non-Refundable)
In accordance with standard e-commerce practices and applicable laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, custom and personalized products are non-refundable once production has begun.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Digital Obituaries
- Online Memorial Keepsakes
- Memorial Pins/Buttons
- Memorial Ribbons
- QR-code Memorial Products
- Any products customized with names, dates, photographs, written tributes, or other personal information
Once a customer submits final details, approves a design proof, or confirms customization through our website, email, or messaging platforms, the order is deemed confirmed and accepted and cannot be canceled or refunded.
2. Proof Approval & Customer Responsibility
Before production begins, customers may be provided with a digital proof where applicable. By approving a or confirming order details, the customer acknowledges that:
- All Information has been reviewed for accuracy
- Name, dates, images, and spelling are correct
Eternal Memories is not responsible for errors discovered after proof approval or production commencement.
3. Digital Products & Services
All digital products and services offered by Eternal Memories are non-refundable once delivered, activated, or accessed, as permitted under the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Digital Obituaries
- Online memorial profiles and hosting services
- Digital design files and PDFs
- QR-code memorial setup and linking services
- Audio Keychain (including recorded or uploaded audio content)
Once a digital product or service has been:
- Delivered electronically
- Uploaded, linked, or activated
- Accessed by the customer or a third party
The transaction is considered final and is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
“Due to the personal and irreversible nature of audio recordings, all audio content submitted or recorded for audio keychains is final once approved.”
4. Non-Personalized Physical Products
Where a product is not personalized, returns may be accepted under the following conditions:
- Return request must be submitted within 7 days of receipt
- Item must be unused, unaltered, and in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If any item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:
- Order Number
- Clear photographic evidence
After review, we may offer:
- A replacement
- A repair
- A refund (at our discretion)
Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the claim has been verified.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before design work or production begins.
Once:
- Customization has started
- Proofs have been approved
- Digital services have been delivered
the order cannot be canceled or refunded.
7. Local Availability & Delivery (Bahamas)
Certain products and services are currently available only in Grand Bahama. Local pickup or delivery options will be communicated at checkout or during order confirmation.
Orders placed outside the applicable service area may be refunded at our discretion if fulfillment is not possible.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used at checkout.
Refund timeless:
- Processing time: 5-10 business days
- Actual posting time may vary depending on the payment provider (Bank Transfer, Cash N’ Go, Island Luck, Cash Pickup, etc.)
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction (Bahamas)
This Returns & Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
By placing an order on this website, customers agree that any disputes arising from purchases made through Eternal Memories shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Bahamian courts.
